Chakra Colors at a Glance

Unlike aura colors, which might change from person to person, or according to our mood, chakra colors are unchanging. That's because when people talk about chakras, they're referring to the seven primary energy centers in each person's body.

Everyone has the same seven chakras. And in each person, the chakras are associated with the same exact color. (This means that if some guy comes up to you in some nightclub, and claims he can see your chakra, he's probably talking about some other part of your anatomy. Doubtful that guy's a keeper.)

These energy centers -- or chakras -- influence how we think, feel and interact with our world around us. Below is a brief overview of each chakra, along with some of its primary characteristics.
